MINTEQA2 Workshop

Next MINTEQA2 Workshops:  August 6-7, 2008 near Atlanta, GA.

Allison Geoscience Consultants, Inc. offers training seminars in the use of our geochemical speciation model, MINTEQA2 for Windows.  Our hands-on workshops for MINTEQA2 produce satisfied customers!

Our next workshop will be held at Oakwood, Georgia (about 45 mi northeast of Atlanta) on August 6-7, 2008.   Call or email for more information.

Training will focus on how to get the most out of MINTEQA2 for Windows including how to use it to calculate the resulting composition when two systems are mixed, adsorption modeling using the diffuse-layer, triple-layer, and other models, how to estimate partition coefficients for metals, how to add new components and reaction species to the thermodynamic database, and other topics of interest to participants.  The cost is $ 500 per participant; this includes a coupon for $50 off the regular price of MINTEQA2 for Windows.   Participants should plan to bring a laptop or notebook computer.  A tentative workshop schedule appears below.  Workshop Registration Form.
